NGMC Gainesville announces first baby born in the new year

Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville has announced the first baby born under their roof at the start of the new year.

The announcement was made Thursday afternoon by Emily Kerns with Northeast Georgia health System.

“Hudson, the first baby born at NGMC Gainesville – and the first in Hall County – in 2026, arrived on January 1 at 2:26 a.m.,” Kearns said. “He was delivered by Tiffany Tucker, CNM, with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group”

Born to Amanda and Zachary of Dahlonega, Hudson weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 19 ¾ inches long. He joins his big sister, Georgia, who is now 18 months old…
