TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WRBL) – Kareem Easley, the police chief at Tuskegee University, was arrested early New Year’s Day by the Sandy Springs Police Department in Georgia and charged with driving under the influence, according to university officials.
“Tuskegee University officials have learned that University Police Chief Kareem Easley was arrested by the Sandy Springs Police Department in Georgia early this morning and charged with driving while under the influence,” the university said in a statement.
Easley was hired as Tuskegee University’s police chief in October 2025.
