Barn fire kills four animals in Hall County

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Hall County Fire Rescue crews responded to a barn fire Sunday morning that killed four animals but allowed dozens more to be saved, according to Kimberlie Ledsinger, public information officer for the department.

Firefighters were called to the 3500 block of Friendship Road around 10 a.m. and found a single-story barn fully involved with animals trapped inside, Ledsinger said.

Crews worked to extinguish the flames while simultaneously removing animals from the structure. Twenty animals were rescued, she said. Two pigs and two quail were found dead inside the barn…
