Let’s Go Inside The Beautiful Tate House Conservatory!

Welcome to the 884th Metamorphosis Monday! Today, I’m taking you back to the beautiful Tate House, aka The Pink Palace, in Tate, Georgia. You may recall that a friend and I visited the Tate House in December, when it was decorated for Christmas.

The Tate House, built from a rare pink marble mined from a nearby quarry, is an iconic landmark in Tate, Georgia.

It really is a stunning home to see in person!

In 2024, a beautiful conservatory was added on to the left side of the home.

I couldn’t wait to go inside and see how it looked. I don’t think I’ve ever been inside a conservatory, except when I visited the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Pictures can not truly capture the beauty of this space. It was built to host special events, including weddings.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a mini version of a room like this attached to our own homes? Plants would thrive there during the wintertime!

We were so fortunate to be visiting the Tate House on a blue-sky day! It had been raining just a few days prior.

The chandeliers were amazing! I believe we were told that they were especially made/designed for this space.

An elegant Christmas tree was on display in the conservatory. I would love to go back and tour the home again one day during the spring or summer, if it’s ever open for tours during that time. See more of the Tate House in these two previous posts: A $100,000 Christopher Radko Christmas Tree AND The Beautiful Tate House Dining Room & A Fantasy Table Setting.

I’ve had several requests to share updated photos of the two kittens I adopted back in November. I promise to do that very soon. I have a ton of photos I need to go through, but I will do that and share some photos of them soon. In the meantime, if you are looking for a great puzzle to fill these cold winter days/nights, I really enjoyed working this “book-lover’s” puzzle during the month of November. This puzzle features scenes and characters from classic books like Little Women, Narnia, A Christmas Carol, and many more of our well-loved classics. I really enjoyed doing this one! You’ll find it available here: A Book Lover’s Christmas Puzzle.

Metamorphosis Monday: Metamorphosis Monday is a party that’s all about Before and Afters. Please link up your Before and After projects, like DIY projects, room makeovers, craft projects, and even recipes. Please do not link up Table Settings; save those for our Tablescape Thursday party on Thursday. If you are participating in Met Monday, link your post to the party using the “permalink” to your MM post and not your general blog address. To get your permalink, click on the name of your post, then copy and paste the address (that shows in the address bar at the top of your blog) into the “URL” box for InLinkz when prompted.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!…
