Forsyth County Motorcyclist Killed in GA 400 Collision, Investigation Ongoing

Tragedy struck yesterday morning on GA 400 South in Forsyth County, where a collision resulted in the death of a motorcyclist, later identified as 54-year-old Toby Gant of Cumming. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the crash occurred just after 6 a.m. near an on-ramp from Pilgrim Mill Road.

Initial reports from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office indicate a 2017 Toyota Yaris was traveling behind a 2007 Triumph Scrambler motorcycle when it struck the rear of the motorcycle during the merge onto GA 400. The force of the impact caused the rider to be quickly ejected from the bike, and the car then veered across the southbound lanes before crashing into a guardrail. An off-duty EMT, present at the scene, rendered aid to Gant, but he was pronounced dead at the site of the crash…
