UGA freshman injured in skiing accident says he’s grateful for support that got him back home

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — It’s been three weeks since Ayden Slipsager, a University of Georgia freshman from Dunwoody, was injured in a skiing accident in Colorado, and now, he is back home in metro Atlanta, rehabilitating at the Shepherd Center.

Slipsager said he still doesn’t remember the accident.

“I have no idea,” he said. “I was found on an ungroomed slope and ski patrol had to take me down the mountain.”…
