CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, officers were called to Highway 92, just east of I-75, at around 6 a.m. on Jan. 16 in reference to a deadly incident involving a pedestrian.
Deputies said a man was crossing Highway 92 from the Hampton Inn toward the BP gas station when a vehicle in the westbound lane hit the pedestrian. He was pronounced dead at the scene…
