The Braselton Town Council has voted to place Town Manager Jennifer Scott on administrative leave.
Braselton Mayor Kurt Ward confirmed Saturday morning that the council voted in a called meeting Friday to place Scott on leave.
“Braselton appreciates Jennifer Scott for her many years of service. At this time, Braselton’s Town Council is prepared to move forward in a different direction,” Ward said.
According to the town’s website, Scott has worked in Braselton’s government since 1997, both as manager and clerk. She was also appointed in 2024 by Georgia Governor Brian Kemp to the Upper Oconee Regional Water Planning District, and has served in a number of other capacities in the community, including coordinating the Braselton Urban Redevelopment Agency, the Braselton Arts Council and the Braselton Public Facilities Authority…
