Cherokee County, GA – Residents traveling near Upper Bethany Road and Lower Bethany Road should expect increased police activity this afternoon as the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office conducts scheduled SWAT training.

According to the Cherokee Sheriff’s Office, the training exercise will take place today between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., with a visible law enforcement presence on roadways in and around the area.
