“Horrific” animal cruelty case brings charges in Talking Rock

Dead animals, skeletal remains found at property

A woman has been charged in a heinous animal abuse case in Talking Rock, where several skeletal remains and eight malnourished, but living, dogs were found at a home.

“This is a horrific case,” said Pickens County Marshal Jody Weaver. “People need to realize that we are going to hold them accountable and that this is not acceptable.”
