Justice Riley Hales, 25, of Canton is accused robbing Marietta Donuts, 2520 E. Piedmont Road, Marietta, on Jan. 26 at 2:30 p.m., according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.
Hales ordered a dozen doughnuts, pretended to pay, passing a note to the victim and brandishing a handgun in his waistband when she took too long to read the note. The victim gave him the $159 that was in the register. Hales then took all the money inside the tip jar and the box of doughnuts, according to the warrant.
Hales is charged with armed robbery weapon. He was arrested on Feb. 2 at 12:24 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
