The City of Norcross and the Norcross Police Department recently reported a more than 25% reduction in overall crime in 2025.
The decrease builds on prior success, with crime already down 22% in 2024 compared to 2023. According to the city, nearly all major crime categories in Norcross are now well below their 10 and 15 year averages, reflecting sustained progress in public safety.
“These results don’t happen by chance,” said Mayor Craig Newton. “They are the direct result of a highly professional police department, strong leadership and meaningful partnerships with our community.
