Woodstock to Celebrate Arbor Day by Dishing Out 700 Free Trees to Residents

The City of Woodstock is extending an open invitation to its residents to participate in an Arbor Day celebration set for next Friday, February 20. While the trees are being offered to the public, a special ceremony will also be taking place where city employees who have dedicated two decades of service to Woodstock will be honored by having a tree planted in their names.

Those interested in joining the efforts to greenify Woodstock can retrieve their seedlings during business hours at these designated locations: City Hall Annex located at 12453 Hwy. 92 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Woodstock Visitor’s Center at 8588 Main Street between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and the William G. Long Senior Center situated on 223 Arnold Mill Rd. from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM…
