ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A 4-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the finger in Gwinnett County on Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to a Burger King restaurant off Braselton Highway in Dacula, where they found the child. The child’s mother said he was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for treatment.
The mother said she and her son had stopped at the Burger King to get breakfast when she received news that her dog of 10 years had been run over and killed. In her grief, she didn’t notice until it was too late that her son had grabbed the Glock from the truck’s glove compartment…
