A man from Toccoa was arrested on Friday, Feb. 20, after he allegedly assaulted a man in the parking lot of an elementary school on Friendship Road in Hall County.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a reported fight around 6 p.m. in the parking lot of Friendship Elementary School, where they found a 26-year-old Lawrenceville man suffering from severe facial injuries.
The suspect, Chad David Ivey, 45, remained at the scene when deputies arrived.
Investigators determined that Ivey had purchased a vehicle from the victim earlier this month and believed he had been misled about the condition of the title.
