Sip & Swine BBQ Festival returns for 11th year

In 2025, the Sip & Swine BBQ Festival raised a record-breaking $110,000 for children in need. This time around organizers of the popular barbecue competition — now in its 11th year — hope to do even better to benefit Home of Hope at Gwinnett Children’s Shelter.

The two-day Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event is set for Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7 at Gwinnett Field (formerly Coolray Field), with 100% of the proceeds going to Home of Hope.

Since its inception, the Sip & Swine BBQ Festival, which draws amateur, junior and professional contestants, has raised more than $1 million for the local charity devoted to the wellbeing of homeless children and their young mothers…
