Auburn police are searching for a suspect wanted in a Monday apartment complex shooting.
The shooting occurred around 2:20 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Yugo Auburn North apartment complex. The victim was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional and is in stable condition.
Following an investigation, police developed a suspect. The suspect was identified as Melvin Sabas Alexander Hernandez Davila.
Davila has not been apprehended and is wanted on for felony warrants of attempted murder and robbery first degree.
