A captain with the Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is recovering after being seriously injured in a vehicle crash in Glascock County.
Captain Shane Henson remains in the trauma intensive care unit at Wellstar MCG Health, where he is awaiting surgery for injuries sustained in the crash.
His wife, Brise Henson, was also injured in the incident. Family members say she suffered multiple fractures but has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
