Rome, Georgia – Drivers across north Georgia could encounter sudden bursts of snow and visibility dropping to a quarter mile or less Monday afternoon and evening as scattered snow showers move across the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 p.m. Monday for a wide swath of north Georgia, including Floyd, Bartow, Gordon, Pickens, and Union counties.
