Athens, Georgia based restaurant, Baddies Burger House, expanded in downtown Gainesville. Located at 125 Washington St., the business officially began serving customers in January and is operated by Chris Scott.
“This location is our first outside of the Athens area,” said Scott, “It is iconic because it is the first location that wasn’t a restaurant prior to us being here.” He said the decision to open here was intentional, “This is far enough away to be on its own, but close enough in case of an emergency for logistical purposes.”
Scott said that there has been a steady line of customers. Typical order times are filled in just a few minutes, but seating and parking is scarce.
The restaurant features smashburgers, fries and puddings ranging from $9.00 to $16.00. A combo features a burger, fries and a drink. The space is small with seating for approximately 15 inside, making it a place students can visit between classes…
