ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Nic Crews died after being shot in a Veterans Affairs clinic in Jasper earlier this week.
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), the gunman, identified as Lawrence Michels, arrived at the VA clinic on Tuesday for a walk-in mental health consultation and shot Crews once inside.
Michels was killed by law enforcement after exiting the clinic. Crews died the next day…
