A man and his girlfriend were arrested in Forsyth County after the man allegedly stole thousands of dollars worth of items from his former employer and tried to sell them online.
The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said owners of Preferred Tire and Truck Repair reported in early February that an ex-employee had stolen over $26,000 of tools and items from them.
Over the course of the investigation, authorities discovered that the employee, Steven Tomlin and his girlfriend, Harley Harvard, had allegedly scrapped steel and aluminum items that belonged to the company for money.
