New cameras have been installed at Ball Ground Elementary School STEM Academy, tracking drivers’ speeds in an initiative aimed at improving safety for students and pedestrians.
The city of Ball Ground announced Wednesday that it has launched a School Zone Speed Enforcement Program, in collaboration with the speed photo enforcement company RedSpeed.
In a video detailing the program, Ball Ground Police Chief Jamie Gianfala said the goal is to address the “ongoing speeding concerns” and to “enhance the safety for students, staff and family during school hours.”…
