LILBURN, Ga. — A middle school student in Gwinnett County was arrested after a gun was discovered in their bookbag, according to officials.
The state’s largest school district recently installed Evolv weapon detection systems at all county middle and high schools, with this incident highlighting that the systems are working as intended.
