Two men arrested for pontoon boat trailer theft from Aqualand Marina

After the theft of a pontoon boat trailer from Aqualand Marina on the afternoon of Jan. 11, two men were recently arrested in connection with the crime.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said the suspects, Kenneth Todd Norris, 63, of Flowery Branch, and Timothy Brian Jenkins, 54, of Danielsville, each were charged with one count of felony theft by taking.

The trailer’s owner first reported the theft in January using the agency’s online Police to Citizen Portal. The case was later assigned in March to an investigator with the Special Investigations Unit.

After reviewing surveillance footage from the marina, it was determined that a pickup truck owned by Jenkins was used to tow the trailer. Authorities said that both Jenkins and Norris were inside the truck at the time of the incident…
