The City of Lawrenceville will host its final public information meeting regarding a proposed annexation on Thursday, May 14.
According to city authorities, the meeting is intended to provide information about the proposed annexation and to outline the process established under Georgia law. The meeting will be held on the fourth floor of the Council Chambers at Lawrenceville City Hall from 6-8 p.m. Community members are encouraged to attend.
The annexation would expand the city limits and update jurisdictional boundaries, while maintaining the same millage rate for residents and businesses. If approved by voters, the city would assume responsibility for providing city services within the annexed areas…
