One-year-old Vinny Meatballs thought he was going home last night. He had been picked up wandering the Dallas area streets by animal control officers who thought for sure he was just lost.
Instead he was surrendered to the Dallas county dog shelter by his family. Everyone assumed his family had been missing him and would be relieved to see him, but when the owners were notified, they told the shelter staff they didn’t want him any longer.
Dallas Dog – Rescue.Rehab.Reform have stepped up, and Vinny Meatballs is on his way to the rescue organization.
