Fast-growing Dallas church pushing ahead on $30M new building

One of Dallas’ fastest-growing churches has taken a huge step toward its $30 million new home. Social Dallas earlier this summer began interior demolition of an existing building in northwest Dallas to make way for the new facility. And now, they appear to have a date for the next step.

“This isn’t just about tearing something down. It’s about making room for what God is building right here in our city,” Pastor Robert Madu Jr. wrote earlier this week in an Instagram post about the demo. Church officials could not immediately be reached for comment Friday. ”The area God has called us to has carried many stories over the years. Some marked by hardship. Some marked by pain. But we believe God is writing a new story, and hope is on the way!”

According to the Texas Department of Licensing Registration, the construction step is expected to begin in late November 2026, with work lasting until February 2028. The work will include renovation of 111,840 square feet of exterior facade, and installation of a 2,300-seat auditorium, classrooms, auxiliary theaters, lobby, cafe and “support space,” according to TDLR…
