Dallas County launched its 10th Annual Expunction Expo on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, offering qualifying residents a chance to clear eligible criminal records and remove barriers to employment, housing, and education.
Applications opened at 8 a.m. on July 8 and will close at 5 p.m. on July 9. Due to high demand, not all applicants will be selected; participants are chosen by a random lottery system.
Decade-Long Program Helps Thousands
Since its launch in 2017, the Expunction Expo has helped secure 3,365 approved expunctions through the Dallas County Criminal District Attorney’s Office and the Dallas County District Clerk’s Office.
