Yesterday, I wrote about Helen Corbitt, who had a hand in pretty much all of the most iconic dishes served at the Zodiac Room, located in the soon-to-be shuttered flagship Neiman Marcus store downtown. The story does point out that her dishes are served at other Neiman Marcus-branded restaurants. However, today a spokesperson with Exemplar Luxury Group, the new name of Neiman Marcus’ parent company, Saks Global, reached out with somewhat good news for all you popover fans: the Zodiac Room won’t go away entirely.
“As we transition the store to close this fall, we plan to infuse elements of the Downtown store and its rich history into our NorthPark store,” the company said in a statement. “This includes reimagining the Neiman Marcus Café into The Zodiac Room and celebrating other important pieces of our history.”
In case you missed it…
