Galleria Dallas reveals fresh details on sweeping makeover

Galleria Dallas is getting a major makeover, and new details reveal what shoppers can expect.

At the forefront is an upgrade of the North Plaza where a new “grand customer entrance” will soon welcome shoppers—a project estimated to cost $4.2 million, according to an April filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

“It’s part of a phased plan to elevate the best experience,” Galleria Dallas General Manager Angie Freed told Chron on Wednesday. “Right now the space is a path to get into the building…it really could be much more interesting and a place that people sit and enjoy. Right now…it’s just passive.”
