One wouldn’t expect the organizers of a party to arrive and start reassembling the furniture as part of their hosting duties. But proving to be most accommodating, the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek’s reputation for exemplary hospitality outshone itself on the evening of Wednesday, April 29.
The occasion was the dinner for the Crystal Charity Ball former chairs underwritten by Bank of America Private Bank Merrill Wealth Management. For the dinner, organizers had opted for the Promenade with its Palladian windows and chandeliers instead of the adjacent Pavilion Ballroom, because of the dramatic effect of having two lines of tables extending the length of the room with chairs on both sides of the tables.
But then there was a slight hitch on where to take the traditional photo of the group of women — referred to as “the Ma’ams” — who had been so successful over the years in raising funds for Dallas County children’s non-profits…
