Dallas police are searching for Barbara Thomas, a 68-year-old woman last seen around 4 a.m. yesterday in the 9000 block of Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, as North Texas grinds through one of its most punishing heat stretches of the summer. Thomas is described as a Black female standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 105 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white short-sleeve top, blue jeans, and blue shoes.
The Dallas Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward and has assigned the investigation case number 126057-2026 to help route tips to the right detectives. The department says the public can call 911 or reach its Missing Persons Unit directly at (214) 671-4268.
