Last week, Davi Inc. held a grand opening event in its new 18,500-sq.-ft. facility in Carrollton, Texas, in the middle of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. During the event, executives from the plate and angle rolling machine builder spoke on the state of the North American market, how far it’s come, and where it’s headed.
“The Davi story in the United States started almost 40 years ago.”
That was Orazio Davi, president of Cesena, Italy-based parent company Davi Promau, speaking at the event. During his presentation, he described his first visit with a U.S. distributor in 1988. In 2002, the machine builder launched Davi Inc., its U.S. subsidiary, with an office in Rockford, Ill.
