An ice cream chain that got its start in India has two Dallas-area shops in Texas, one in Frisco and another in Coppell.
Dumont was founded in 1999 by brothers Vivek and Bhashkaar Inampudi, according to CultureMap Dallas. The brand made Texas its first U.S. target market, opening its debut American location in Frisco in 2023 before expanding to a second Dallas-area shop. Since then, the chain has added a second Dallas-area shop.
A Menu Built on Global Flavors
Ice cream is the centerpiece of the Dumont experience, with more than two dozen flavors spanning continents.
