Cities around North Texas are getting ready for National Night Out events to help build bonds between law enforcement and the community.
National Night Out falls on the first Tuesday in October each year in Texas.
It’s a night where police departments encourage neighborhoods to host gatherings, like block parties, where people can get to know neighbors and officers can visit.
