On October 8, 2026, at approximately 7:05 p.m., the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol and others responded to a two-vehicle crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 1138 in Collin County.
A preliminary investigation indicates a passenger car was traveling southbound on FM 1138. A pickup truck was traveling northbound on FM 1138 approaching Crowell Lane. The driver of the passenger car began driving on the wrong side of the road and struck the pickup truck head on.
