On October 30, 2026, at approximately 9:10 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a Shooting call in the 3700 block of South Tyler Street. The preliminary investigation determined that 28-year-old Samarius Johnson was shot multiple times by an unknown suspect who fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
