Arlington triple-murder suspect arrested in Mississippi, charged with capital murder

A suspect in connection to a triple-homicide that happened on January 25 in Arlington has been arrested, police say.

On Tuesday, February 6, Arlington Police arrested 29-year-old Larry Reed on one count of capital murder in Greenville, Mississippi after the department was notified of his location.

Reed is being held at the Washington County, Mississippi jail. He’ll stay there until he is extradited to Tarrant County where he’s facing three charges of capital murder.

A report from our media partners at NBC5 showed that Reed was released from state prison only weeks before the triple-homicide in Arlington. He was previously sentenced to 11 years in prison in 2012 for the murder of 18-year-old Obeth Hernandez.

Police are asking anyone with additional information to call the Arlington Police or Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-TIPS.
