A Garland man has been convicted of murdering one of two sisters he shot at a Rowlett gas station.
35-year-old Keith Richmond now faces punishment for the July 2022 murder that happened at the Valero station at DalRock and I-30.
Court records show Richmond killed 31-year-old Hillary Plouck and wounded her sister. It happened after an argument.
Now that there’s a conviction, the jury can hear evidence of Richmond’s prior murder conviction as part of the punishment hearing.
In 2016 Richmond killed a 16-year-old and served a 10-year prison term. He could get life for this Rowlett case.
Because the shooting happened on the Rockwall County side of DalRock, the case is being tried in a Rockwall Court.
