DALLAS, Texas – The Dallas Police Department is actively investigating the 2019 murder of 45-year-old Sheila Prater. On March 3, 2019, at approximately 10:32 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a health and welfare check in the 3400 block of Keyridge Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Prater deceased inside the home. The investigation determined that Prater died from homicidal violence, according to the department.
