Be patient Texas. It’s going to be a couple of more years before it opens but there IS a Universal theme park coming to the lone star state. The new resort will occupy 97 acres, about 1/4 the size of Universal’s Orlando, Florida park. Attendance figures are expected to be about 7,000 visitors a day during the week and twice that, 14K, on weekends.
