How the injury to Jordan Love effects the Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys will have a healthy amount of competition this season in the race for the playoffs. And in a season that comes off of months of noise and distractions, as well as several departures and few imports for Dallas, there is every reason to believe that their best path to the playoffs may be as a wild card team.

If that is the case, then the Cowboys will be in fights with teams like the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, and perhaps the Chicago Bears. And unfortunately for Green Bay, their star quarterback, Jordan Love, will be missing some time after sustaining an injury in Week 1.

Love sprained his MCL against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys had their season ended in the wild card round by Love and the Packers this past January. And while there is no official timetable for how long Love will be out, we can assume that four weeks will be the minimum. In the next four weeks, the Packers’ schedule is as follows:

  • vs. Colts
  • at Titans
  • vs. Vikings
  • at Rams
