Suspect accused of shooting at an Irving Chick-Fil-A charged with capital murder and aggravated assault

DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- A Dallas County grand jury has leveled capital murder and aggravated assault charges against an Irving man who is accused of opening fire at a Chick fil-A in June.

37-year-old Oved Mendoza Argueta is accused of killing two and wounding others. His bond has been set at $2 million.

Immigration officials have posted a detainer on Argueta because he’s accused of being in the country illegally.
