Cowboys Star Micah Parsons Escorted Off Field By Officials

After suffering two straight losses, the Dallas Cowboys (1-2) look to get back on track with a divisional matchup against the New York Giants (1-2) on “Thursday Night Football.”

For the Cowboys, the last two weeks have been very disappointing, especially on the defensive side, allowing 44 points to the Saints and 28 to the Ravens at home. But against the Giants, Dallas may have taken an even bigger hit.

With just over 12 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Cowboys defensive anchor Micah Parsons suffered an injury while making a tackle. It appeared that his own teammate may have accidentally hit him in the head.

The officials calling the game noticed Parsons seemed a little off following the hit and had him escorted to the Cowboys’ sideline.

According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Parsons was brought into the blue medical tent to be evaluated for a concussion and a neck injury.

The All-Pro linebacker was initially ruled questionable to return but came back in a few minutes later.
