The Dallas Cowboys squeezed past the New York Giants 20-15 at MetLife Stadium to snap a two-game losing streak, but Micah Parsons isn’t happy.
With the Cowboys again having their way with the Giants under Dak Prescott’s tenure (12-2), that still isn’t enough for Parsons.
In what was nearly a “must-win” for Dallas, it managed to do enough in what was a gritty and scrappy performance.
But Micah is seemingly fed up with the close wins.
“Winning is important, it’s hard to do in this league, so edging a 20-15 win, it wasn’t perfect,” Parsons said. “I’m done scraping by, I don’t want to scrap by no more, I want legit wins, I want to win consistently.”
Micah might have a short-term memory here.
Dallas’ Week 1 win against the Cleveland Browns was a dominating one in a 33-17 win.
Last season, the Cowboys won nine games by double digits and held teams to 20 or fewer points 11 times. That’s a lot of “dominating wins.”
Plus, we think three straight seasons of 12-5 is the definition of “winning consistently.”
