After the attack in February police released the picture of 28-year-old Corvonta Brooks hoping to get his name and track him down.
Now police say they have him in custody. Shortly after the attack, Richardson ISD bus driver Danny Senkow told our partners at NBC-5 that he was driving kids home that day when they became too rowdy and he had to pull over. He says that’s when a man forced his way on the bus and attacked him.
Senkow says he made the mistake of trying to push the man out of the bus when the suspect grabbed his ankle and pulled him out of the bus. Brooks is now charged with injury to an elderly person.
