Police arrest two people who allegedly assaulted a 55-year-old man who was trying to protect his son

ARLINGTON, Texas – Two people were arrested in Arlington on aggravated robbery charges after police say they assaulted a man who was trying to protect his son. The Arlington Police Department (APD) said officers responded at approximately 5:20 p.m. Wednesday to the 1600 block of Pecan Chase Circle for reports of an assault. When officers got there, they found a 55-year-old man who was bleeding from his hand. The man told police two people came to the location to fight his son, who was not home at the time.
