Nationwide IV fluid bag shortage hits North Texas hospitals

The DFW Hospital Council admits local hospitals have been impacted, but they are not in panic mode yet. However, that’s not the case in other parts of Texas. The U.S. is facing a shortage of IV bag fluids after the Baxter facility in North Carolina that produces 60% of the nation’s supply was hit hard by Hurricane Helene.
