How ‘Concerned’ Are Cowboys About CeeDee Lamb Injury?

FRISCO – Injuries aren’t the reason. But they are a reason. And the last thing the Dallas Cowboys need right now is another one.

This weekend, star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb popped up on the official and final injury report ahead of the team’s “Monday Night Football” meeting at AT&T Stadium with the Houston Texans.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy revealed that the issue occurred during simple 7-on-7 drills in practice.

So this offense, already flailing about without team leader Dak Prescott, who this week underwent season-ending surgery to repair his torn-off-the-bone hamstring, might now also be absent its best player?

Oh, and add Zack Martin to the list, too, as he is listed as “questionable” for Monday due to a shoulder ailment.

Ah, but not so fast. Dak won’t play, and the defense will be without DBs Jourdan Lewis and DaRon Bland. But otherwise, Martin is planning on participating.

And Lamb (who by the way is also playing with a shoulder sprain)? McCarthy is now offering some clarity there, saying, “I’m not of high concern” regarding any chance of Lamb missingĀ “MNF.”
